CABIN FEVER DAYS
January 31st – February 9th
Save the dates for our Cabin Fever Days events in February. There will be a 4v4 Volleyball Tournament, TRAC pool party including rubber duck races, Snow Sculpture Competition, Open Skate and so much more!
Winter Activities
Public Open Skate
The Winter Sports Building offers public skating from October 2024 through March of 2025. Open skate will be scheduled on the below dates/times each week!
Open skate on January 7th and 9th from 1:00-3:00pm is CANCELLED
October 2nd – March 16th
Wednesday and Sunday evenings
7:00pm – 9:00pm
October 1 – March 13th
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
1:00pm – 3:00pm
These public skate times are set for the entire winter. Weather conditions and the safety of the WSB users is a priority. We will update our website and social media in case of possible cancellations.
Fees: $5/youth, $8/adult, $15/family
Skate rentals are available for $5 each.
OUTDOOR SKATING AND WARMING HOUSES
Warming Houses are available during the winter months at McElroy Park, Meidinger Park and The Bunker. Cross Country Ski rentals are available at McElroy Park for $5.00.
WARMING HOUSE HOURS
McElroy Park Warming House Hours:
Jan 2nd – March
4:00 – 7:00pm Monday through Friday
12:00 – 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday
*The Bunker warming house will NOT be available on Jan. 11, 18, 29 and 31 due to other events being scheduled.

The Bunker and Park Warming houses will NOT open for skating or sledding if Outdoor Temperature and/or Wind Chill Temperature are 15 below.
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
There are cross country ski trails at McElroy Park and Hillcrest Golf Course that are groomed as weather allows. You can rent ski’s at the McElroy Park warming house during the hours listed above.
