Put on your favorite Halloween costume and join us for BOO Bash at TRAC! This free, family-friendly event is packed with games, prizes, and Halloween fun for kids of all ages. It’s the perfect chance to show off those costumes one more time while enjoying an afternoon of festive activities. We also invite families to bring a non-perishable food item to support our local food drive. Please note that for safety, face coverings and masks are not permitted.

Before your large Thanksgiving feast it is time to gather friends and family for our annual Run Now, Gobble Later 3K and 5K race. The races, sponored by Essentia Health, will begin at McElroy Park and take place outside if the weather holds, if not, the race will take place inside the TRAC Bubble. There will be prizes for best dressed adult, family and child!

Celebrate the holiday season with Jamestown Parks and Recreation at our 4th Annual Festival of Trees at the Bunker!
Local businesses, organizations, individuals and families are invited to help bring the display to life by sponsoring and decorating a tree, wreath or table centerpiece. The community will have the opportunity to view the decorated displays during two public viewing nights before the Festival of Trees Wine & Cheese Social and Silent Auction on December 4.
December 2–3, 2026 | 4:00–7:00pm
Stop by the Bunker and enjoy the beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces. Public viewing is open to the community.
December 4, 2026 | 5:30–8:00pm
Join us for an evening at the Bunker featuring wine, cheese and a silent auction of the decorated trees and displays. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Foundation and support parks and recreation in our community.
Tickets are $25 per person, or reserve an entire table for $150.
Following the event, JPRD can deliver purchased trees for a fee at your convenience, or they may be picked up the day after the event.

Celebrate the magic of the season at JPRD’s Christmas Village at The Bunker! Bring the whole family for an afternoon filled with holiday cheer, including a special visit with Santa, festive crafts, cookie decorating, and a heartwarming holiday story.
Children will love visiting the Kids Store, where they can shop independently for affordable gifts for family and friends, making the experience even more memorable. Enjoy festive decorations, holiday music, and a cozy winter atmosphere while creating lasting holiday memories together. Lunch and s’more kits will also be available for purchase, making it the perfect way to spend a festive day with family and friends.

Ring in the New Year with an evening of family-friendly winter fun at The Bunker! Spend the night sledding down Bunker Hill as colorful lights and festive music transform the hill into a magical winter experience. Warm up by the fire with hot chocolate and s’mores, then head indoors for a glow party featuring music, dancing, and activities for all ages.
The celebration wraps up with a special early New Year’s countdown and ball drop at approximately 10:00 p.m., giving families the chance to celebrate together before heading home. It’s the perfect way to welcome the New Year with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Put your creativity to the test at JPRD’s Cardboard Sled Building Competition! Gather your family, friends, or teammates, save your cardboard, and bring your duct tape to build a one-of-a-kind sled before racing down Bunker Hill.
Compete in individual or team divisions, enjoy a day of friendly competition, and cheer on fellow builders as they put their creations to the ultimate test. Warm up by the fire pits with hot cocoa, s’more kits, and fresh popcorn available for purchase throughout the event.
Registration begins at 1:00 p.m., with the first race starting at 2:00 p.m. This event is weather dependent and requires at least 5 inches of snow on the ground. Come ready to build, race, and enjoy an afternoon of winter fun at The Bunker!

Beat the winter blues and join us for Plant Bingo Night, a fun-filled evening of dinner, bingo, and houseplants! Bring your family and friends for a cozy night where every bingo game gives you a chance to take home a new plant.
Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by bingo beginning at 6:00 p.m. We’ll play as many rounds as time allows, with each round’s first winner choosing from a variety of houseplants. Additional plant prizes and fun consolation prizes will be awarded throughout the evening, so everyone has a chance to go home with something special.
Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or just looking for a unique night out, Plant Bingo Night is the perfect way to celebrate the season with good food, friendly competition, and a little greenery to brighten your home.

Show off your creativity at JPRD’s Snow Sculpture Contest! Gather your family, friends, or teammates and transform piles of snow into imaginative works of art. Whether you’re building a towering masterpiece or a whimsical winter creation, there’s plenty of room to let your creativity shine.
Prizes will be awarded for the top sculptures, so dress warmly, bring your snow shovels and building tools, and get ready for a fun day outdoors. While you’re creating, warm up by the fire with hot chocolate, s’more kits, and fresh popcorn available for purchase.

Get ready to shoot, score, and have a whole lot of fun at the Big PIG Tournament! This March Madness-inspired basketball event is the perfect way to shake off cabin fever and enjoy some friendly competition.
Parent/child (or parent figure) teams and adult coed teams will compete in themed divisions as they battle through the bracket in pursuit of the coveted Ham-pionship title. Individual youth and adult PIG games will also take place throughout the event, giving players of all ages the opportunity to show off their shooting skills and take home the bacon.
Games begin at 1:00 p.m., with tournament end times based on registration. Each game is played until the first player spells “PIG” or the 15-minute time limit is reached. Whether you’re competing for bragging rights or just looking for a fun afternoon on the court, the Big PIG Tournament is sure to be a slam dunk!

Think your team has what it takes? Gather your puzzle crew and join us for the 5th Annual Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge at The Bunker! Work together to race against the clock, complete your puzzle, enjoy a pizza and four carbonated beverages (beer or pop), and compete for prizes.
Choose from three divisions based on your team’s skill level:
New this year, mini puzzle challenges throughout the evening will add a fun twist, giving teams the opportunity to earn an advantage—or shake up the competition! Every team will take home their puzzle as a keepsake.

Hop on over for the 67th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Elks #995 and JPRD, this egg-citing event will be held at McElroy Park! The Easter Bunny will be there to help celebrate and you can capture the moment with a photo for just $5 per child. Bring a container for your Easter goodeis and get ready for a fun-filled community tradition. Reminder: Parents are not allowed to hunt with children. We are excited to offer a sensory friendly area for children that would like a more quiet experience.
Two age groups: 5 and under and ages 6 – 10.
In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will be moved indoors to the TRAC Bubble.
