Festival of Trees Display

December 5th, 2025
5:30-8:00pm

 

We are hosting our 4th annual Festival of Trees at the Bunker!  Businesses/individuals/families can sponsor a tree and decorate it December 1-2.  There will be a public viewing December 2 – 4 from 5:00-7:00pm. On December 5th we will host a wine and cheese social and silent auction of the trees at the Bunker.  The silent auction will be benefiting the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Foundation. JPRD will deliver the trees at your convenience or you can pick up the day after the event.  Purchase a ticket to this event for only $25/person or purchase an entire table  for $150.

Christmas Village and Photos with Santa

11:00am – 3:00pm

 

Come to the Bunker and step into a winter wonderland at JPRD’s first annual Christmas Village! Take your photo with Santa, he is making a special stop! Get creative with a merry little Christmas craft, decorate a cookie, and stop by the Kids Store to get all of your shopping done! From joyful tunes and toasty smores, there is something magical waiting for everyone!

 

Entrance Fee: $3/Child (Adults are free)

Pictures: $10/Photo with Santa

JPRD Corporate Cup

January – June 2026

 

Get ready for the ultimate showdown of local businesses! The JPRD Corporate Cup is a fun, community-focused competition designed to foster teamwork, friendly competition, and employee wellness while strengthening connections across Jamestown.

Form a team of 6–12 members from your company—or partner with other small businesses—and take part in monthly challenges beginning in January, leading up to the final event at Hillcrest Golf Course in June.

 

Teams will earn points each month for participation and performance, competing for prizes, bragging rights, and the coveted Corporate Cup Traveling Trophy! 
Bonus points will also be awarded for community engagement.

 

Monthly Activities:

 

January – Track and Field (TRAC)
Kick off the competition with your team competing in events such as the Binder Hurdles, Chair Races, Wastebasket Toss and more.

 

February – Jamestown Jeopardy (Bunker)
Be the most knowledgeable team about the history and city of Jamestown.

 

March – March Madness (TRAC)
Compete in basketball type activities

 

April – Amazing Race Egg Hunt (Winter Sports Building)
Your team will race around town collecting eggs based off of clues found at JPRD facilities.

 

May – Wiffleball Tournament (McElroy Park)
Your team will participate in a wiffleball tournament at the new baseball diamonds at McElroy Park.

 

June – Golf Scramble (Hillcrest Golf Course)
The big finale! Teams will compete in a golf scramble at Hillcrest Golf Course, where final points will be tallied and the Corporate Cup Champion crowned.

 

Bonus Point Opportunities
Earn extra points each month by participating in community events, attending local sporting events, or supporting JPRD programs. The more your team engages with Jamestown, the closer you’ll get to the top of the leaderboard!

Indoor Snowball Fight

January 30th, 2026
4:00-7:00pm

 

Kick off Cabin Fever Days with a flurry of fun at TRAC! Join us for an Indoor Snowball Fight inside the TRAC Bubble, with come-and-go action between 4:00–7:00 PM. Open to all ages, this event is perfect for friends, families, and anyone ready to run, throw, and dodge their way through a blizzard of soft snowballs. We’ll even have a special area where little ones can practice their aim at fun targets. Don’t miss this cool way to warm up your winter!

 

Fees: Free for TRAC Members/Day pass for non-TRAC members

Water Balloon Dodge Ball

January 31st 2026

Beat the winter blahs with a splash of fun at TRAC! Join us for a wild, water-filled twist on a classic game – Dodge ball! Teams of up to 5 players will battle it out in the pool with age divisions: 9–10, 11–13, 14–18, and adults. Don’t miss your shot—sign up now and make a splash at this one-of-a-kind dodge ball showdown!

 

Fees: Free for TRAC Members/Day pass for non-TRAC members

Sled Building Competition and Race

January 31st, 2026
11:00am

 

Save your cardboard and bring your duct tape for a Sled Building competition at the Bunker at 11:30am on January 31st.  Show off your sled building skills and then join us for a race down the bunker hill after the sleds are complete.  We will have hot cocoa, s’more kits, and fresh popcorn for purchase to enjoy by the fire pits. Registration begins at 11:00am. Must have 5+ inches of snow on the ground for this event.

Big P-I-G Tournament

February 1st, 2026
1:00pm

 

Get ready for some classic hoops fun at the BIG P-I-G Tournament—a twist on the traditional game of P-I-G, designed for parent-child teams! Whether it’s Mother/Son, Father/Daughter, or any parent figure combo, everyone’s welcome to join the fun. Have multiple kids? No problem—you can create more than one team! Register by your child’s current grade level. Brackets will be created after registration closes on January 23, and start times will be posted online. Registration will open soon!

 

Fees: $20/team – All proceeds will go towards the JPRD Scholarship Fund

Duck Races

February 2nd – February 7th, 2026
Noon

 

We will have duck races in the TRAC pool Monday-Friday at noon! The first duck down the slide each day is the winner and will advance to the finals on Saturday at Noon. The final winning duck will receive 50% of the total entry fees, with the other half supporting the JPRD Scholarship Fund. Ducks are limited so purchase yours at the TRAC front desk the week before the races.

 

Fees: 5.00 per duck or $20.00 gets 5 ducks.  $50.00 buys a spot into the finals.

Snow Sculpture Competition

February 7th, 2026
10:00-1:00pm
Hansen Arts Park

 

Now is the time to show off your snow sculpture skills.  Who can create the most majestic snow sculpture in all the land?  With plenty of open space and pristine snow conditions, this will surely be a grand spectacle. There will be prizes for the top sculptures! (Dress warmly and bring your snow shovels/building tools.)  We will also have hot chocolate and s’more kits available for purchase during this event. Must have 5+ inches of snow on the ground for this event.

White Elephant Bingo

February 8th, 2026
1:00pm-3:00pm

 

Bring the family for our White Elephant Bingo Party! Did you receive a great Christmas gift but don’t need it? Bring it to the White Elephant Bingo at the Bunker. Each white elephant gift you bring can be exchanged for a bingo card. Players may purchase additional bingo cards.

Adult Puzzle Challenge

March 13th
6:00-8:00pm

 

Grab a team of 4 adults and join us for a night of fun at The Bunker!  The first team to finish a 500 piece puzzle, pitcher of beer (or carbonated beverage of your choice) and 1 pizza will be the winner!  There will be prizes for the top 2 finishers and all the teams will get to keep the puzzle. .

 

Fees: $100 for a group of 4 (must be 21+)
