Put your teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test at the Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge at The Bunker. This interactive event offers two divisions, so whether you’re a serious puzzler or just looking for a fun night out, there’s a challenge for you.
The Competition Division is designed for experienced puzzlers and features a 500-piece puzzle. The first team to complete their puzzle, four carbonated drinks (pop or beer) and one pizza will be the winner, with prizes awarded to the top two finishing teams.
The Recreation Division offers a more relaxed experience with a 350-piece puzzle. The first team to finish their puzzle, four carbonated drinks (pop or beer) and one pizza will receive a prize!
All teams will get to keep their puzzle, and new this year, surprise twists will be added throughout the night to mix things up—giving teams either an advantage or a challenge along the way. Strategy, luck, and teamwork will all play a role in this fun and competitive event.
Fees: $100 for a group of 4

Hop on over for the 66th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Elks #995 and Jamestown Parks & Recreation, this egg-citing event will be held at McElroy Park! The Easter Bunny will be there to help celebrate, and you can capture the moment with a photo for just $10. Bring a container for your Easter goodies and get ready for a fun-filled community tradition. Reminder: Parents are not allowed to hunt with children. Watch for updates on Prize Giveaways!

Join Community Bike Rides led by the Jamestown Bike Riders Advocacy Group and sponsored by Dakota Central. These rides run May through August and are open to all ages, with both short and long route options available each month. Bikes and helmets are available through the Community Bike Fleet, and helmets are required for all riders. Explore Jamestown, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with others in a fun, healthy way this summer. Locations will be announced soon.

JPRD and Wings on Strings Kite Club invite you to the 32nd Annual Kite Festival at Meidinger Park Field! This FREE event attracts kite enthusiasts from across the U.S. and around the world. Bring the family for a weekend of colorful skies and fun. Saturday includes kids’ kite-building workshops, a vendor show, the Kids Zone with games, jumbo coloring sheets, kite demos, candy drops, prizes, and the Mobile Literacy & Learning Lab. Sunday features more kite demonstrations, candy drops, and chances to win exciting prizes.

July is National Parks and Recreation Month, and we’re celebrating all month with fun activities and events. The highlight is Party in the Park at Nickeus Park, featuring a 3K and 5K walk/run, food, live music, games, and entertainment for all ages. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate parks, recreation, and community.

Kick off Buffalo Days at our 3rd Annual Glow-in-the-Dark 3v3 Basketball Tournament at Leapaldt Park! After sunset, the court comes alive with glowing hoops, neon lines, and bright basketballs for a night of half-court action under the stars. Brackets include 4th–5th, 6th–7th, 8th–9th, and 10th grade & up. Grab your team and help light up the scoreboard for an unforgettable kickoff to Buffalo Days.
