Join Community Bike Rides led by the Jamestown Bike Riders Advocacy Group and sponsored by Dakota Central. These rides run May through August and are open to all ages, with both short and long route options available each month. Bikes and helmets are available through the Community Bike Fleet, and helmets are required for all riders. Explore Jamestown, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with others in a fun, healthy way this summer.

Each ride includes door prize drawings, and at the end of the season, all entries from every ride will be combined for a chance to win one grand prize.

Kick off summer with a morning full of fitness, fun, and community at the TRAC Summer Parking Lot Party! Join us for a variety of activities for all ages and fitness levels, starting with a 5K fun run and walk. Stick around for yoga, strength challenges, games, and classic summer fun throughout the day.

Serve up some fun at Bolinger Tennis Courts for this FREE special day of tennis just for the kids! Enjoy games, prizes, music, food and fun. Kids of all ages and skill levels are welcome. This is a great way to introduce young kids to the sport if they have never tried before.

July is National Parks and Recreation Month, and we’re celebrating all month with fun activities and events. The highlight is Party in the Park at Nickeus Park, featuring a 3K and 5K walk/run, food, live music, games, and entertainment for all ages. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate parks, recreation, and community.

Join us for Kids Safety Day at the Jamestown Civic Center. This event is free and open to all kids up to age 12. Join us for fun and learning on how to stay safe including a bike rodeo, free bike helmets, weather safety, water safety, and much more! The event is sponsored by Community Health Partnership and Central Valley Health.

Kick off Buffalo Days at our 3rd Annual Glow-in-the-Dark 3v3 Basketball Tournament at Leapaldt Park! After sunset, the court comes alive with glowing hoops, neon lines, and bright basketballs for a night of half-court action under the stars. Brackets include 4th–5th, 6th–7th, 8th–9th, and 10th grade & up. Grab your team and help light up the scoreboard for an unforgettable kickoff to Buffalo Days.
