Youth Soccer (Ages 6-18)
Jamestown Soccer offers a combined program for school aged kids with the option of selecting either a recreational or competitive program. Our coaches are licensed coaches that teach the technical skills needed, based on age and skill level. We use a player development model that starts with teaching individual ball handling skills at younger ages then expands to team development. Players are grouped into teams based on age, then skill. Practices are held up to 3 times a week. Our recreational option is available until age 12. In the rec program, kids practice 2 times a week and play inter-squad games on Sundays. The competitive program practices 3 times a week and includes opportunities to play in appropriate leagues and tournaments. Travel is a necessary part of the competitive program.
PRESCHOOL SOCCER, AGES 3-5 – SUMMER/FALL
The Pre-K program is designed as an introduction to soccer for 3 to 5 year olds. The concept is to teach simple skills and get them excited about playing soccer! Parents are actively involved with their child during this program. Practices are once per week and involve fun, age-skill appropriate activities that both child and parents can enjoy together.
