Tribute Program

Tribute (Memorial) Program

The purpose of these guidelines is to establish standards, procedures and criteria for the installation and care of donated features in Jamestown Parks and Recreation District owned properties. The District desires to encourage donations while at the same time manage aesthetic impacts and mitigate on-going maintenance costs. Donors may choose to participate in the tribute program for a variety of reasons.  Examples are; in honor of, in appreciation of, in thanks to, in memorium, or in appreciation oTrif. The Tribute Program is designed to enable individuals to support JPRD through a tax-deductible contribution. Contributions will be acknowledged as described below. The acknowledgement is symbolic of the donation and does not entitle the donor to ownership of the particular donated feature. Donated features may include a tree, bench, paver and other features as approved by the JPRD Executive Director or designee.
