Noon Open Skate/Hockey
Join us for some open skate and hockey play on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Winter Sports Building. Noon skating/hockey will be open from 12:00 – 1:30pm and cost will be $5/person. Please see below for required attire for each day. Friday is adults only!
Monday/Thursday:
- Open skating only
- Skate Rental available – $5.00
- Skate Sharpening available – $10.00
- All ages and levels are welcome
Wednesday:
- Open Puck Play
- Must wear helmet, gloves and skates (pucks available from WSB)
- Skate Rental available – $5.00
- Skate Sharpening available – $10.00
- All ages and levels welcome
Friday:
- Noon Hour Hockey
- Must wear FULL GEAR
- Adults only
PUBLIC SKATING AT WINTER SPORTS BUILDING
The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department offers public skating from September through April. Daily Admission is: Children – $5.00, Adults – $8.00 and Families – $15.00. Ice Skate Rentals – $5.00. Skate sharpening is also available.

PUCK SHOOTING AREA
The northeast corner of the Eagle’s Arena has a dryland shooting area, to improve your stick handling and hockey skills, the shooting area is open to use during business hours, when our facilities are open, PLEASE clean up after yourselves.
SKATE SHARPENING
Keep your skates sharp throughout the skating season. Buy an individual sharpening ticket for $10.00 available at the Wilson Arena office.
JOHN L. WILSON & EAGLES ARENA RENTAL
Looking for a place to have a birthday party, celebrations or a get together? The Winter Sports Building Eagles and Wilson Arena may be the place for you. Rent ice time for skating and a room to have your party in. Times and dates vary. Please call the arena for rental times and dates 252-3939.
INDOOR ROLLER SKATING
Join us during the month of June for open roller skating at the Winter Sports Building. Bring your own roller skates or roller blades and enjoy the fun.We do not have skates available for rent.
Street Hockey
Check out our free open play street hockey during the month of July in the west parking lot of the Winter Sports Building. We will provide hockey sticks, pucks and nets. Please wear closed toe athletic shoes and join us for some fun! You don’t have to be an experienced hockey player to join in the fun, it’s a great, fun activity for any skill set. Join us on Wednesday nights in July to check out how fun street hockey can be.
